Utricularia adpressa is a spectacular plant.
It's a terrestrial plant wich grow in dense colonies in overflooded or muddy areas.
The houndreds of plants of this big colony covers a surface of 300 sq.m (10m X 30m).
But there must be some water before you see this plant : it grow only during the rainy season.
Interresting is the red colouration of the stiff and thin inflorescence :
Single flowered plants are pretty rare. The flowers are of a soft yellow color ;
all the flowers of the colony had the same color, no extravagant individuum was observed.
The flowers are delicate jewels suspended in the grasses :
